Seabourn has unveiled its Cook Your Catch culinary experience.
While on the line’s “Ultimate Alaska” voyage, travelers can hook and have cooked their own fish while aboard Seabourn Sojourn in Alaska & British Colombia during the summer season ahead.
After finding their catch of the day on select shore excursions in Alaska, guests could have their fish prepared for dinner by the culinary team at either The Restaurant or The Colonnad.
Destinations with excursions that enable Cook Your Catch include:
- Halibut Fishing at Icy Straight Point
- Salmon Fishing at Ketchikan
- Salmon Fishing at Sitka
- Fishing the Inside Passage at Wrangell
The 2019 season in Alaska and British Columbia runs from June to October offering a selection of 11-, 12- and 14-day ‘Ultimate Alaska’ cruises with itineraries including wilderness destinations such as Harriman Fjord and College Fjord, marquee ports from Ketchikan and Juneau, and the First Nation villages of Alert Bay and Klemtu, a town with a population of less than 500.
Seabourn guests participating in Cook Your Catch will be required to purchase a valid one-day fishing license, available from the fishing boat captain at $25, and a $15 king salmon stamp as well during king salmon season, May-June. All fishing gear is provided. Guests may also choose to have their catch shipped anywhere within the United States for an additional fee.
In 2020, Seabourn Sojourn will be embarking on a world cruise. The 146-day World Cruise: Extraordinary Destinations will feature 16 overnights, 18 late evening stays and 62 total port visits.
